First Lady Mercy Evans Biography
First Lady Mercy Evans of Christian Faith
Worship Center received her calling to teach the Word of God
in 2006. It was a Sunday during church service that God spoke
to her and told her plainly the times is now. With an obedient
spirit and heart she said yes Lord. And since then has shared
God’s spiritual truths
with the Christian Faith Worship Center Church International
family of believers.
First Lady Evans is a native of Shreveport and
a mother of three. She graduated from the School of Ministry
headed up by her husband Pastor Troy Evans, Sr.
She is fun loving and believes
in just being herself. “I like to have fun and enjoy
myself, but I know that there is a time for fun and a time
to be serious especially when it comes to the things of God.”
The Word of the Lord is what has instructed,
guided and matured her to be the person she is today. She credits
the teachings of her Pastor, husband and teacher for her continued
spiritual growth.
“As for my ministry, I believe that God
is going to take it to the highest level, and I’ll be
speaking to large congregations and helping women develop that
personal intimacy with God that they need to know Jesus. I
believe that we can do nothing on our own and that we will
always need the Lord in our lives.”
She is passionate about the members of
Christian Faith Worship Center following their Shepherd Pastor
Evans as he follows Christ, allowing the Lord to order their
footsteps, and walking in integrity and behaving Christlike. “The
Word of the Lord instructs us in our daily lives and if we
meditate on His Word day and night God will make our way
prosperous and give us good success.”
